Ellis and the Great Spirit

"Hello again, Ellie." the entity spoke in a resonating but soft voice. Its voice consisted of what sounded like dozens of other voices together.

"You... are you really my old master?" Ellis asked, unable to take in the sight of the otherworldly being before her. It radiated an aura of valiance and nobility that made her feel ready for any challenge.

"Once, I was. For so long, I was encased in shadow. But thanks to you and your friends, I have returned to my truest state of being. I thank you for that." the entity said. "And now, I offer you a choice. Throughout my existence, I have given to the world protection in the form of souls. These souls go on to become great heroes. But now, I offer you something I've never done. You may embark on a journey throughout infinity. A different mode of living-one separate from the mortal plane. An endless existence, where you won't experience the highs and lows of emotion. You will lose your mortality and become a being of limitless possibilities. What do you say?"
