The encounter​

Learn the wind-up, commit to a dodge, and punish the recovery. This original boss combines a readable basic attack with two special moves and a stronger phase below 45% health.

• Mandible crush: attack contacts at 0.40s, with delayed damage checked against the target's distance.
• Grit Line: three straight grit bolts fired in sequence. Step laterally after each rib flash; blocks stop grit. Recovery: 0.60s after bolt three.
• Sandglass Blast: 7-block pull followed by a 6-block sand disk. Run outward before the pull or cross beyond the exact 6-block blast ring. Recovery: 0.85s after blast.

Phase two​

At 45%, coils tighten once; phase two accelerates Grit Line and adds a two-stage sand blast.

• Grit Line: five faster straight grit bolts. Sustain lateral movement through all five rib flashes.
• Sandglass Blast: strong pull followed by inner and outer sand disks. Escape seven blocks; otherwise clear 4-, then 6-block pulses.

Warning circles mark the outer radius of each affected disk. Visible projectiles collide with terrain; status effects expire. The boss uses player targeting and melee pathfinding, with separate casting and recovery periods. Health, damage, movement, cooldowns and effect radii are editable in the included MythicMobs files.

Inside the pack​

• Original editable Blockbench model with an embedded pixel texture and ModelEngine blueprint.
• Eight animations: idle, walk, attack, skill1, skill2, enrage, hurt and death.
• Native MythicMobs mob and combat configuration, plus a Nexo PAPER collectible and its texture.
• Ready-to-merge plugin folders, installation instructions and file checksums.

The looping preview shows all eight shipped model animations with crisp directional shading and overlap shadows. The background, typography and clip labels are presentation artwork; server particles and combat effects are described above.

Requirements and installation​

Combat requires ModelEngine R4 / compatible UltimateModelEngine and MythicMobs Premium on Paper. Nexo supplies the optional collectible and combined resource pack. Dependency plugin JARs are not included.

1. Stop the server and back up the current plugins and resource pack. Merge the ZIP's plugin folders into the matching folders.
2. Start the server, let ModelEngine build the blueprint, then rebuild and deliver the combined Nexo resource pack. Run /mm reload.
3. Accept the latest client resource pack and spawn the encounter in an open arena: /mm mobs spawn MrbSandglassLeviathan 1.

The boss is spawned explicitly. The collectible does not summon it. Read instructions.txt for configuration and troubleshooting.

Verification​

Tested on Paper 26.1.1 with UltimateModelEngine R4.1.1-UME.1, MythicMobs Premium 5.13.1 and Nexo 2.0.0-dev1. Native tests captured basic attacks and both special moves in each phase, a single low-health phase transition, movement, damage and effects, boss-bar lifecycle and model-entity cleanup after death. The delivered resource pack passed download integrity and asset-reference checks. Separate studio review covered model style and animation. The runtime observer was a headless protocol client; graphical Minecraft client rendering was not tested.
