Lag from Forge 1.8.9

Hello,
I have started playing Dungeons again after a break to find that every couple of minutes in a dungeon I get about 40 seconds of 1-3 fps. I use Forge 1.8.9 and Patcher, Skytils, NEU, SBA, optifine and scrollable tooltips however I have tried using Forge without any of these mods and it still happens leading me to believe that it is the installation even though I have reinstalled countless times.
