Based on real life BTR-4, the BTR-4 is a Ukrainian-made 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC) developed in the early 2000s by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau. Unlike earlier Soviet BTRs, the BTR-4 features a completely new design with a rear troop compartment for easier dismounting and better crew protection.
