Create a custom Minecraft server with configurable items, blocks, furniture, armour, interfaces and recipes. Nexo manages the resource pack behind your content, so players can see your creations without installing a client mod.
Download: Nexo2 2.0.0-dev.1 — our maintenance build based on Nexo 1.28. Ultra membership is required to download this resource.
Build your custom content
- Items, blocks and furniture: define your own equipment, decorations and interactive objects through configuration.
- Pack management: generate assets, combine packs and deliver the result to players.
- Interactive mechanics: make blocks respond to clicks and add behaviour to your content.
- Interfaces and chat: use glyphs for menu artwork, rank graphics and emotes.
- Migration tools: bring existing Oraxen and ItemsAdder content into your setup.
- Extensions: use the developer API for custom mechanics and connect compatible addons, including NexoAddon. ModelEngine and MythicMobs integrations support richer entity workflows.
Nexo 1.28 highlights
The supplied baseline includes the 1.28 recipe expansion: smithing, transmutation, anvil and crafter recipes; additional in-game recipe builders; and ingredient quantities, durability consumption and replacement items. It also adds backpack whitelists, anvil-cost settings, furniture-bed requirements, a custom-block loot event and pack-format selection using compatible protocol plugins.Other 1.28 improvements address glyph presentation, translations, tridents, furniture beds and connected shapes, crafting restrictions, pack generation and delivery, model rotations, equipment components and resource atlases. See the upstream changelog for individual changes.

Requirements and testing
Upstream targets Paper and Folia 1.21.4+. The repository records headless checks for this exact build on Paper 26.1.1 with Java 25: startup, reload, ModelEngine pack import and SELFHOST pack delivery. Its recorded automated checks include 31 runtime assertions and eight installer checks. Java graphics, Folia and newer Minecraft versions are not certified by that report.Installation and resource packs
Stop the server and back up its worlds, plugin JAR and Nexo data before updating. Replace the existing Nexo implementation; do not load both together. Keep your current configurations, models and pack assets. Configure a SELFHOST or S3 endpoint that players can reach, and have players accept the pack to display custom visuals.Fresh servers need suitable asset files: separately hosted upstream default/UI artwork is not included. The bundled example provides minimal placeholder assets. The build uses a pinned baseline plus compiled patches; the full recovered tree is not an independent source build. Follow the included README and staging instructions before production use.
