Sawed off clothed​

This is the same extreme short-barreled shotgun (often a "pistol grip" configuration), but the remaining stub of the stock or grip is tightly wrapped with cloth or tape (e.g., cotton, medical tape, or sports wrap). The fabric serves multiple purposes:

Improves grip – prevents the hand from slipping on metal or wood under heavy recoil.

Covers sharp edges – protects the palm from jagged cuts after sawing.

Adds comfort – slightly cushions the blowback against the hand.

Tactile identification – allows quick orientation in low light.

This modification is purely practical for makeshift close-range weapons, often seen in improvised or illicit contexts. The single-trigger remains functional, but accuracy is virtually nonexistent beyond point-blank range.
