A talented Pokemon enthusiast has just showcased an innovative set of Tera forms designed for the evolutions of the classic Red and Blue Starter Pokemon. Following the trend established by the last few mainline entries, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced a novel battle mechanic known as Terastallization. This innovative feature grants Pokemon a fresh, crystal-like appearance and modifies their offensive elemental capabilities.

Traditionally, the Terastallization mechanic has brought about relatively minor cosmetic changes to Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. However, recent rumors indicate that this may change with the impending DLC for the game, collectively titled "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero." Leaks suggest that this DLC will introduce revamped Tera forms akin to the beloved Mega Evolutions from Pokemon X and Y. Unlike the superficial alterations of adding a new hat and crystal coating, these updated Tera evolutions are rumored to significantly transform the Pokemon's appearance and greatly enhance their abilities.

Amidst speculation about which Pokemon will receive these novel Tera forms in the forthcoming DLC for Scarlet and Violet, Reddit user Colmlukas has taken the initiative to envision the original Starter trio from Pokemon Red and Blue. Sharing their vision on r/pokemon, Colmlukas presented fan-conceived artwork depicting Tera forms for Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. In these innovative forms, Venusaur's iconic leafy flower is replaced by a colossal mushroom, Charizard ditches its wings in favor of flames cascading down its back and shoulders, and Blastoise swaps its water cannons for a jellyfish-inspired shell pattern.

Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise stand among the inaugural Pokemon introduced in the franchise and have remained enduringly popular since their debut in the original Red and Blue versions. All three received Mega Evolutions in Pokemon X and Y, as well as Gigantamax forms in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Should Pokemon Scarlet and Violet indeed introduce radically transformative Tera forms through its upcoming DLC, it's only fitting for Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise to receive them given their storied history in the Pokemon universe and their propensity to acquire new forms with each new iteration. While information about these speculated Tera evolutions remains limited, and their introduction is not entirely confirmed, Colmlukas's imaginative artwork provides a captivating glimpse into the potential appearances of the new Tera forms for Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's upcoming wave of additional content.
