If you are unfamiliar with the idea of DayZ or MineZ, the gamemode integrates itself amidst a world stricken by disease. A world where zombies terrorize the streets and humanity has turned to murderous acts and pillaging to stay above ground.

MyZ takes the idea of a zombie apocalypse and takes it to a whole new level. Suitable either as a completely new gamemode, or just an expansion on Minecraft survival (ultra, ultra hardcore), MyZ turns life into living Hell. Think smarter mobs + more mobs + realism (thirst, temperature, etc.).

When you first install the plugin, you'll find a clean drag-and-drop design that integrates nicely with any other plugins you have pre-installed. As you start to explore, you'll find that MyZ has transformed your world into an immersive zombie apocalypse, and your user base will love you for it.

Instead of playing traditional Minecraft, players will spawn into the game with only what you allow them to start with. They must then fight off environmental factors, other players, and - of course - the undead. But zombies aren't what they're used to. MyZ turns the undead into smart, aggressive killers that react to sound, smell and much more.

But that's not it.

If they manage to fend off the zombies and players desperate for more materials, they'll find themselves searching for water to quench their thirst, raw materials to upgrade their equipment, warm clothes to keep their temperature up, and food to keep them from starving.

Death is a certainty. But it is not the end. Should a player die, they risk becoming one of the undead for a short period of time. They are then given the opportunity of a second try, when they can be revived as a ghost.

Only the strong will survive in the world of MyZ, as zombie apocalypses do not look favorable upon those who run from a fight. Logging out in the midst of danger spawns combat NPCs. If killed, the weak-minded player who foolishly logged out will have their corpse lying abandoned by the side of the road, open to looters who wish to steal the gear right off their back. They too, however, risk the corpse becoming reanimated by the player who left in the first place. And that's just scratching the surface of MyZ.
